Clinic discs (DICOMDIR), folders, ZIP archives, and single files: CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound, mammography, PET. JPEG, JPEG 2000, JPEG-LS, and RLE compression.
From an ordinary CT or MRI series, the program builds axial, coronal, and sagittal planes. Thick-slab MIP, average, MinIP.
Spine, joints, vessels, and lungs in 3D: rotate with the mouse, change opacity, pick ready-made presets — bone, skin, vessels, muscles.
Length, angle, Cobb angle for scoliosis, area and mean density in HU, contours, arrows, and labels. Undo — Ctrl+Z.
Soft tissue, lung, bone, brain, vessels — with the digits 1–9. Invert, rotate, flip, color palettes, zoom, and magnifier.
Up to 9 panels on screen, synchronized scrolling, cine through slices. Handy for comparing a study "before" and "after" treatment.
Images and patient data are never sent anywhere. Only anonymous numbers go to the site: the program version and the number of launches.
The camera button or F12 — the picture goes straight to the Pictures folder and the clipboard: paste it into a messenger and send it to your doctor.
If the graphics card is old or integrated, the program switches to software rendering by itself. There is a separate version for Windows 7 and 8.1.

The program is free and is not yet signed with a paid developer certificate: because of sanctions, it is currently almost impossible for a Russian author to buy one. So on first launch Windows, macOS or your antivirus may warn about an "unknown publisher" or even block the file by mistake. This is the usual reaction to new unsigned programs — below is how to get around it.
If you do not want to install it, download the "no installation" version: it is a single file that even runs from a flash drive.

My name is Sergey Evdokimov, and I am a doctor. Patients keep bringing me discs with MRI and CT scans, and every time I ran into the same problem: they are not easy to open. Some programs are heavy and slow, others are paid, and others have so many extra features that you cannot figure them out without a manual.
So I decided to make a program for myself: fast, simple and with only what a doctor really needs during an appointment. When colleagues saw it at work and started asking for a download link, I decided to share it with everyone — for free.
The program helps you view images, but it does not replace the radiologist's report or an in-person consultation.
Free and with no time limit. The program shows a small banner — for example, for the Doctor Evdokimov Clinic. You can close it with the cross until the next launch. There are no paid features.
No. Images are opened and processed only on your computer, and the program works without the internet. When the internet is available, it downloads the banner image and sends anonymous statistics: a random installation number, the program and system versions, and the number of launches, views, and clicks on the banner. Statistics can be turned off in the "About" window.
Almost all clinics write images in the DICOM standard — the program will open them. In the program, choose "Open folder" and select the whole disc. If something does not open, write to the author using the form below — we will try to add support.
20 languages: Russian, English, Chinese, and the languages of the CIS countries and Europe. On Windows, the language is chosen at the start of installation; on Mac and Linux, at first launch. You can change it at any time with the globe button in the program's top bar.
That is how the SmartScreen filter greets new programs that do not yet have a paid certificate and a large number of downloads. Click "More info" → "Run anyway". You can compare the files on the site with the SHA-256 checksums in the "Download" section.
Because of sanctions, it is currently almost impossible for a Russian author to buy a code-signing certificate, and antivirus programs sometimes block new unsigned programs "just in case". Restore the file from the antivirus quarantine, add it to the exclusions and run it again. Detailed instructions are in the "Installation" section.
Volume 3D and the three planes are built from a CT or MRI series with many thin slices. 3D cannot be built from a single X-ray image or an ultrasound. On very old computers 3D runs slower: the program renders without the help of a graphics card.
No. DoktorEvdokimov is a viewing program, not a medical device. The study report is written by a radiologist, and the treatment decision is made by the attending physician at an in-person consultation.
Yes, the license allows it. The program may not be sold or modified. The most convenient way is to give a link to this site: the latest version is always here.
Windows: "Settings" → "Apps" → DoktorEvdokimov → "Uninstall". macOS: drag the app from "Applications" to the Trash. Linux: delete the AppImage file.
